Cam Gear & Connection Rod Mechanism

Cam Gear & Connection Rod Mechanism

Cam gear is a machine element with a gear centered concentrically with the hole in the gear hub, and a caliber centered away from the hole in a single axis proportional to the course of the press head. Erosions and fractions can occur in gears or bearing areas due to high power transfer. Generally, eccentric gears are revised, and specially alloyed bearing bushes are renewed in such cases. In cases where revision is not sufficient, cam gears are manufactured in our organization. We can make the revision of the damaged parts with minimum cost according to the condition of the damage and put them back into operation.

The cam gear & connecting rod mechanism forms the main power transmission structure that converts rotational motion into linear force in press systems. Dynamic loads in high-tonnage press applications require precise tolerances and high material strength in system components. In the machinery & metal industry, the proper operation of this mechanism is critical for production accuracy and die life. Proper engineering and precise manufacturing directly enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
