Hydro & Mechanical Clamp

Hydro & Mechanical Clamp

The connection rod transfers the motion it takes from the eccentric gear of the crankshaft into the rigging system. The rigging system is located between the connecting rod and the press head (a mechanical or overload system can also be located between the press head and the rigging system). The task of the rigging system is to set the minimum or maximum distance of the lower dead point or the upper dead point from the press lower table. It is aimed to convert the dies (different closed die height) that are not produced in accordance with the existing closed die height of the press into work by adjusting the height from the rigging system.

Hydraulic & Mechanical Lock systems are among the equipment that accelerate die clamping processes and enhance occupational safety in press applications. In the machinery & metal industry, they provide an effective solution to reduce downtime and ensure production continuity. Properly designed and high-quality lock mechanisms ensure stable operation under high pressure. Hydraulic and mechanical-assisted solutions also contribute to maximum safety and efficiency in heavy-tonnage presses.
